Last night the 2nd tier didnt had Bible Study. So Derong suggested catching a movie. But many couldnt make it... Anne was sick, Ed n Jean didnt feel like it.. Daniel had a formal dinner.. Ben haha think had to take care of Anne. So we scrapped the whole movie idea and it was just me n Eunice.. two pretty ladies heading to the Parkview lounge.
Parkview Square (the one at Bugis)which looked somewhat gothic to many or like Gotham City to Eunice was really pretty.. I really like the whole classical roman empire feel and haha it does have this unique fusion of oriental n greek touch to it. I really dont understand why the Crane was placed outside lah. There shouldnt be a crane in the first place..
The interior was the ultimate! It was decked in bronze and gold.. and with a nice warm soft light, the place just brought out the whole chill out atmosphere... you will feel posh in that place lor.. But it was quite weird coz you will have servers in fairy clothes and with a funny pair of wings attached to their backs. So totally spoiled the whole atmosphere lor.. It was also quite amusing to see those fairies flying around too. haha to take the wine from this really huge wine cabinet that extends all the way up to the ceiling.. everybody will just turn to look at her flying up to get the bottle of wine. But i didnt like that all the guys at that bar (which was directly below her) looked up at her.. The position is just wrong la huh..
So much for going gaga at the architecture.. But i really appreciated the time with Eunice yesterday.. Think we both have been so caught up with work and ahem personal stuff that we hardly have time to talk talk... thank you dearie for introducing me to that place. For that you deserve a pat on your shoulder.. *winks*
